Bio

Melinda Gaied joined the George Law team in 2022 as a law clerk. Her legal acumen, talent for advocacy, and creative thinking made her an obvious addition to the firm upon admission to the Michigan State Bar.

Melinda graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oakland University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in International Relations. While there, she served on the board of Coptic Club, maintained a spot on the Dean’s List, and presented her honors college thesis at the International Studies Association Midwest Conference.

In 2021, Melinda began law school at Wayne State University Law School on a full merit scholarship. She was a member of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association, the Women’s Law Caucus, and was an Editor and the Symposium Director for The Journal of Law in Society.

Melinda is committed to getting the best outcome for her clients and ensuring that they understand the legal process. She aims to learn about her clients beyond just their legal circumstances, so as to better advocate for them. In her free time, Melinda teaches a young children’s choir and mentors high school students.
